Good, but boring. Garruk is better most of the time.

I run 4 of these and 2 garruks in my deck. It is fun.

This card embodies everything I love about Magic. Green, pumping creatures, Trample, causing your opponent to curse uncontrollably, etc.

Ah, so many wins with this card. Fond memories.
I especially like the weenie creatures at the bottom center of the art.

Hate seeing this card come out against me...ugh, usually means I lose that turn or the next one after it... :(

One of the most feared cards against weenie decks. The closer. A solid 4.

One of the most enjoyable green cards I own. I love it.

If you are running a green aggro deck and you don't have this card, you are doing something wrong and should be ashamed of yourself.

this + saproling deck = hilarity. And people say saprolings are harmless.

does this card effect all creatures in play or just pointed at 1?

pump up even you tinyest to 3/4 tramplers, (base of 0/1), and whats more fun, is you can tangleseed sap, to make sure none of yours die, even when faced with larger/deathtouchers and an ajani to give them vigilance
one swing with 4 1/1 creatures is enough to win most games, and it only gets better with more creatures
You know what though, by the time I am ready to really get good use out of this card during the game I should already be killing you with what I have, that's what I aim for... now if you can be decent and effective with your army as it is... then yes... what a horrible boost this creates.
The same is true for it's play against me... if you cast this spell under the normal circumstances that would benefit you the most ( which is obviously the more cre the better etc.) and I couldn't prevent it in some way (shame on me), then you deserve the win. :)
Still, it sure does magnify one of the classic natures of green and it has cool artwork.
Relative to the other green boost spells this sure holds its own, a nice addition to the collection of these kind of spells...
I'm not sure but would I be nuts for wondering how ruthless it could be as an instant?

Overrun is one of those cards that people will try to down play, but even with a modest creature presence on the board it is a potential game-winner.
Any horde deck should be prepared to unleash this, and at 2GGG it should take too long to do. This card and Howl of the Night Pack were made for eachother.
Say what you like, but I'm sure this thing has killed a whoooooole lotta mages.

Stupid good. It is one of my favorite cards.
The wincon is so simple.
"I have a few guys, what you got?" "Uh, a few guys too... were about even. But I'm ahead in life." "Huh." *casts Overrun* "What are you at now?" "Dead."

This is a killer, pure and simple. If it doesn't down your opponent, it will do decent damage and probably gobble up a blocker or two...a must in most any green deck that intends on having a board presence of more than one guy (I'm looking at you, Silhana Ledgewalker).
I once had the resources to cast this and Garruk's ultimate in the same turn. All my creatures got +6/+6 and trample. When you're beating people over the head with an 8/7 River Boa, you've probably already won.

Do you know how entertaining it is to beat your opponent's face in with a 3/4 Eldrazi Spawn horde that you decided could wait to be sacrificed?
It feels nice.

Yeah but recently it is seeing no competitive play. It seems Eldrazi monument is the fancy new buff of choice now. Maybe it is getting out dated. Can't wait to see the new one in m11

It looks like M11's new "overwhelming stampede" is going to replace it, and is more flavorful and more in keeping with what most people really use it for (elf hordes). Just make sure you have at least one creature with power over 3 (not hard with green) and 99% of the time it will be strictly better than overrun.
