Great in a Proteus Staff deck, to get those big creatures back in your deck. Or for a casual blue-green Oath of Druids.

One of my favorite draw spells, has some nice utility. Mana flooded? Not anymore. Save something from discard, or just toss something you don't need to draw three next turn. You can always fetch it later.

See Beyond is better.

See Beyond is worse actually. I'd much rather have my 2 mana open during my opponents turn and cast Lat-Nam's Legacy eot, than having to rely on crappy socery speed.

I see me a Phyrexian symbol on that left page.

How is this rated below See Beyond? Just play it on your opponent's turn instead and you will have your cards when you are untapped on your own turn.

Anyone else notice how this version has the new border and design, while the others don't?

I believe this is the printing used for the Coldsnap precons.

Is it just me, or do most of the cards named 'Lat-Nam' stink?

This card is a staple for my Polymorph deck. The deck is blue-green, and when I get my progentus and/or my blightsteel colossus, I get to shuffle it back in for greater CASH FOR GOLD!

This card worked out quite well for me once in casual when I got Mind Rotted with this and one other non-instant-speed card in my hand. Saved me from losing a crucial hoser card and I got to draw two, all the while making my opponent waste a Mind Rot.
It's an unlikely scenario, but a very satisfying one.

Its an instant that slowtrips but does nothing in the meantime, feels weird. See beyond is actually better then this if your sitting on mana and need a card. This is better if your playing with counter spells in hand, as you can wait until its all clear to pinch this out.

@ Kirbster: yea and a Thran symbol on the right. Hence the quote about The Brother's War. Mishra embraced the dark arts and went a little too far with Phyrexian magic (not as dark as Yawgmoth), and Urza embraced the practices of the Thran. Inherently, Phyrexian magic wasn't evil, just the users corrupted it.
