Very nice card. Definately worth using combined with trample, unblockable or pretty much everything.

not a bad source for dumping mana and causing pain, especially considering how red/black decks tend to empty their hand rather quickly and have nothing to do with all that extra mana.

If for nothing else, if you have Necromancer's Covenant out, then what you get is a pumpable creature with the potential to lifelink. That means alot of mana dump, and something that is always good in zombies: Life gain.

Firebreathing 30.0, but the fact that you get to use colorless makes the extra 2 mana to actually get it on a creature worth it. Will be a good card in drafting, etc.

its good, but not perfect, its better then firebreathing for its flexibility, its worse then the other artifacts in they cycle because its only a temporary buff
if they had made it 1: equiped creature gets +1/+0, it would be able to synergies with heartstone

It's okay, but what am I looking at in the art?

Sick in the late game with Unearth dudes, especially if powered on by Crypt of Agadeem.

Yup. Best flavor text in the game. That said I have no idea what's going on

Nice to have a late-game mana sink for my troubles. Keeps me from feeling so useless after I empty my hand on turn 5 or so.
It's nice on the hard-to-use Training Drone, as even if you don't have mana to spare on granting an actual boost, the little egg still feels good about holding something.

You call that breaking my spine? You red-black ladies wouldn't know how to break a spine if- *crack* AUUGH! MY SPINE!

Power Artifact would be fun on this. It would triple the efficiency of the equipment.

If something reduced the activating cost of this activated ability, could you resolve it separately to take advantage of that reduction? Because that would mean, on a scale of increasing reduction in cost, the mana:damage ratio would be (beginning at 0)1:11:2-1:3-1:4

An ode to Firebreathing... more efficient in multi-color decks, obviously, and it's also nice that you don't lose it the same way you lose Firebreathing if the creature dies.

Colorless firebreathing, low equip cost, nice little card. Plays well with flying, first strike, unblockable, whatever.
