Kami of False Hope is a staple of my B/W deck, its enjoyable to have infinite with a white soldier deck, especially with Darien, King of Kjeldor or Benalish Commander to add to ur little guys

Although not the best rare in alara block, it works amazingly well with lorwyn block and cards like sigil captain.

So... he kills his servants to prevent damage? sounds black to me.

No...It's not that he kills his soldiers. Is that the soldiers themselves are so loyal that they'll die to protect their people. Now THAT'S white.

I like how it's a knight who commands soldiers. I really wish I could find a good deck to use these in.

Next upkeep tap them for Sky Hussar and draw a card.
If necessary they'll still have enough power left to prevent the combat damage for today :D

Play with Alliance of Arms in multiplayer! I did it once, worked pretty nicely. Oh, and Reveillark is nice with him too.

He works wonderfully alongside some cards from Innistrad block.
First of all, it triggers Mentor of the Meek 3 times.
He's also a big threat with Cathars' Crusade. Stack the triggers correctly and he becomes a 5/5 that makes 4/4 tokens.
Finally, Conjurer's Closet with him becomes a soft-lock for your opponent in 1vs.1.

While it may not be an incredible card per say this still holds a special place in my heart. I was playing around with a monowhite soldier deck that I had thrown together from boosters. My buddy was going golems with precursor/mighty leap. His army was far, far better than mine at this point. If he swung he would win. I played this down and fogged every turn (slowly whittling away my army). Each turn he simply swing with two golems (a lethal force when pumped) to defend against a counterattack. Each turn was a gamble; I needed to topdeck the soldiers to keep fuelling this guy. Eventually I pulled out Elspeth and decked him but it was intense!

Great fun in any Roon of the Hidden Realm EDH deck, imo. I just kept blinking him to get more soldiers and ensure that people couldn't wail on me unless there was some sort of boardwipe happening. As an added bonus, both are genuine Bant creatures (as in the Shard of Alara)!

Wait... isn't that Space Mountain in the background? Didn't know they opened a "Disneyland Bant".
