Pretty good red flyer. Has worked for me a few times in a RW deck.

Double strike would at least make this cost R. Probably more. But man, oh man. It would be a LOT cooler. And better, i think, as long as stuff like Braid of Fire and Gauntlet of Might exist.

Casting Rage Reflection solves the problem with Double Strike, don't you think? But yeah, everytime I see this card, I wish that it had Double Strike...

If you think a little, the pumping, although not as powerful as having double strike, adds a lot of firepower capability to these guy. He'd be hitting by 10, in the air, only-blockable-by-2-or-more by next turn, given that he survives removal.
This guy is one of the most flavorful dragons I've ever seen.

If this guy had Double Strike, among other changes he'd:
1. Be 4RRR 2. Use Shivan Dragon's Firebreathing instead of his own splashable version. 3. Also probably be a 3/3 or 3/4 at best. 4. Still warrant Mythic Rarity.
In other words, you should search through Gatherer all day long today, find every creature Damage Multiplier effect in Red, White, or Black, and then go through that list and weed out the Top 10 'Strictly Better' cards, then look at what your Kaalia EDH Deck has room for, and put 2 or 3 cards from your final list in. :)

This art is fantastic! But I like the older art better..
And double strike on this guy would have to warren an extra to the casting cost cost. Just pumping would effectively produce 4 more damage.
But I implore this question onto you, why fix whats not broken? You can give him a fireshrieker if you must have double strike.
