1 Mana? Awesome. Once I cast a counter it is mostly dead to me anyway, now, those counters server a new purpose...life o precious life...and for such low mana. Allows me to gain life and not use up all the mana I need to keep in control.

Interesting card, seems like it would be most useful as an anti-reanimator or unearth spell. Someone who relies on getting the right card out of their discard pile is going to be in for a rude awakening when this goes off...
That having been said, it seems very situational. The life gain is nice, but not really worth a card slot imho.
It´s an instant, means it can be used by isochron scepter! imagine maybe two of them on the battlefield: 6 life per round (for free) and i am sure the opponent wont be able to unearth or regain any card from the graveyard

Not gonna lie, I squirt coke out of my nose reading that.
Honestly though, this is what graveyard hate should be, small simple effects.
Not cleaning out the whole zone.
Hence, I love it. This is a perfect example of awesome color bleed.
