The second best of the resounding cycle after Resounding Thunder. Definitely more playable than the others even without cycling this card although still probably not worth playing it in a deck that isn't GWU since cycling it is devastating.

Way too expensive when compared to other cards with similar effects

I actually really like this card - relative to most similar cards, it's actually costed pretty fairly (as far as I can tell). Cycling it is pretty potent, and it gets around indestructible and regeneration effects.

What in Godsire's name is this a picture of? Goblin beasties don't live on Bant.

The picture is of a rhox being vanished.. anyways, the card is just a pumped up divine verdict that costs the same, doesn't allow targeting blockers, but does let you exile the creature instead of destroying it. You will probably never ever cycle this thing, unless it's a very slow game, but it's nice to have the option. Less useful than path to exile, or unmake, yet more useful than divine verdict, or say a pacifism in most cases.

better than divine verdict because of cycling

Keep in mind that cycling is an activated ability of the card. Thus, it can't be countered except by a few cards like Stifle. Additionally, with Rings of Brighthearth, you can copy the cycling ability to remove 2 more attackers and draw a card, for only 2 extra mana. Seems more reasonable at that point.

cathod01: that doesn't work at all. Copying a cycling ability is not the same as cycling the card, so the remove two attackers ability won't trigger.

@hippoman23: It's clearly a Rhox. Those actually appear on Bant (Green and White, splashing Blue for some).

Now with Rings of Brighthearth and Strionic Resonator, you can copy the cycling ability and the "when cycled" ability to draw two cards and exile four attacking creatures, all for a measly 9GWU! That's... well, it's something.
