Sick art. Also, a limited bomb. Early or late game, in Limited, you'll always be happy to draw it.

hmmm... either an unblockable 1/1 for 2 mana, or 3/3 for 5 mana... I'd think that it's nice early, but later on it's not good enough. Still, 3,5/5 because unblockable is a great ability.

Strong in limited, but unblockable isn't that big a deal in constructed unless paired with other abilities.

Unblockables need some sort of power ramping to make them truly excellent. But I would play this card, for sure. I also want one for the art.

Exalted anyone? Of course in that case you'd run Jhessian Infiltrator, but what does the extra power matter when you need eight of these 2-drop unblockable dudes to draw them reliably? This could be better than Jhessian Infiltrator because it's easier to cast and late game is more potent.

Nice card, still unsure if the kicker is overpriced or not, but it would be great in any Blue/White or Blue/Green deck with pump ups.

3/3 unblockable is awesome. I used Control Magic on one of these guys the other day and walked away happy :D

Not too bad. I thought it should have been a common.

The question I am asking myself is "is this better than Phantom Warrior for a blue-black control deck?"

I found something fun for Casual play. Try enchanting this with Curiosity or Sigil of Sleep. It can get really funny.

You need an unblockable creature? You get one for cheap. Want to splurge for a little extra damage you got it. Jhonnies love their unblockable creatures for all the combo-triggering they can do but the rest of us can apreciate getting a decent one too.

Ninjas!

I put a Gigantiform on this guy during a draft. It was hilarious.

I've found this to be very useful to stop planeswalkers from getting to their ultimates. Kicked it kills them very quickly. There are probably better cards to do this but it does work for blue.

Now Illusion is a semi-supported tribe so this is better

1/1 unblockable for 2 mana is good. 3/3 unblockable for 5 mana is good. Both on the same card is great. The flexibility to combine it with bloodthirst and Lord of the Unreal and Dark Favor is awesome. This is my new favorite card in standard.

Just won 3rd at Game Day with this card. I hope Innistrad brings more illusions and cards like this.

Compare Metathran Soldier.

Metathran don't get tribal support, but soldiers do, including some in blue, though not as much as white.

Illusions, on the other hand, pretty much only have Lord of the Unreal and Phantasmal Abomination, but figment also has a kicker ability for no additional base cost over the soldier.

I entered this kicked. Two turns later, a threw a Unexpected Results, got a Stag Beetle and with my last mana, I used a Bioshift, moved 19 +1/+1 counters to the Figment and moved over my opponents (we two headed giant).
