Actually, I would say: one of the few legends from Legends that doesn't suck. I would use it in a Limited deck for example.

Very possibly my favorite General of all time. Built-in recursion in Jund colors is just too awesome for words. Absolutely perfect for an ETB/sac deck.

Needs new art. Actually, I really hope they make a Promo of him for the release of the Hobbit Movie. I KNOW that there are probably a hundred reasons why they wouldn't do it....but they could also decide to errata him to make him a Dwarf. I hope that they at least consider it.

Raise Dead on a stick is really strong. Imagine with Fleshbag Marauder for example.
And to all you jund people commenting... both Raise Dead and Recollect ARE jund colors, not to mention oddball red things like Magma Phoenix, or Punishing Fire. So I have no idea what your talking about.

This is a card that needs to be reprinted with awesome new art. What Wizards really needs to do is end the idiotic reserve list policy and give us Duel Decks: Adun Oakenshield vs. Lady Evangela. But since that's not likely to happen any time soon, I'll settle for an oversized Commander version.

Just finished constructing a Goblin Tribal EDH deck with this guy as the Commander. So many beautiful possibilities with sacking and Raise Dead on a stick. Had to make a superior proxy, though- this card's ugly as hell.
Angus Mackenzie, Adun Oakenshield, Tetsuo Umezawa, Lady Evagela, Xira Arien and Ragnar were the odd collection of 3CMC-3 color legends from Legends. Angus and Adun make interesting Commander/EDH Generals.
