This is one of my favourite cards. It was at first a back-up card in my black/green deck untill I noticed that it was practically winning games by itself and decided to make every spell in the deck black and green in order to turn on the mimic on each of my turns. Gift of the Deity is great with it of course though the same is true for all the other mimics with their relevant hybrid aura. In fact, Woodlurker Mimic + Gift of the Deity is by no means the best of the lot but it's certainly my favourite!

Doesn't have synergy with the aura of it's color like the other mimics, but I still like it a lot by itself, probably more than I like most of the others by themselves.

This card can get silly. Wither is a strong ability, and the immense boost this creature gets (+2/+3?!) is basically like a free Giant Growth with a kicker. It combos with some really outstanding G/B plays like:
Use with Consume Strenght to weaken/kill an opponent's creature and boost your mimic to a 6/7 Wither, even on their own attack phase. Your opponent may not expect to get their 8/8 killed by the next attack phase~

This card represent fear to defending player. Normaly they took that 4 damage.

Actually, no matter how many black/green spells you play, it still becomes a 4/5, not +2/+3

This card is CRAZY. I stumbled across it one day, then did a search here for every GB card and randomly threw a bunch of them together, only to wind up with a ridiculous level of power.
Turn 1- Play a land!!! Turn 2- This guy. Turn 3- Consume Strength, most likely killing their only blocker and swinging for 6. Turn 4- Cankerous Thirst, most likely killing their only blocker and swinging for 7. Every subsequent turn- Creakwood Liege or Maelstrom Pulse.
I'm none too eager to do the math on what it would cost to purchase all those cards and build a hard copy of this deck, but... man, GB has some scary stuff under its umbrella.
Ha. Find a way to flash it in when your opponent is attacking with a fatty; its ability will trigger itself and you just cast a 4/5 witherer, and block the fatty. Oops, your fatty isn't so fat anymore. And now my Woodlurker Mimic is in the graveyard in a green black deck. I'll just bring it back later!

Probably the best of the mimics... big wither that will survive a good dose of damage, nice

Maelstrom Pulse - This card is ridiculous.
