This is actually extremely decent card for token decks, in that it can substitute for goldmane when you don't have goldmane, for example with springjack shepherd then evoke this. Can also combo nicely with makeshift mannequin and marshal's anthem along with emeria the skyruin. It might have been better if it said when enters play instead of leaves play.

Good targets for meadowboon are cloudgoat ranger, marshflitter, captain of the watch, wolfbriar elemental, ant queen, mycoloth, oona, after an elvish promenade.

Anytime it leaves play right? Flickerform anyone?

Yay! Titania's Boon for white! But better for the combo potential with the flickering; Flickerwisp, Glammerpoint Stag, Journey to Nowhere, etc.
"Leaves play" is such a wonderful wording. I am so glad it is not a graveyard check.

Yeah, bouncing this consistently would be ideal. It'd be preferable to have a white token deck and run with single turn exiles or run blue/white and get Venser or some other bounce that can hopefully avoid spending that 4 cmc.

It's an interesting card, I just love the feel of evoke cards. They're okay for their normal cost and some are perfect with their evoke cost. This one is better with the former.

BElledin really captured the flavor of evoke on this art I think, better than just making it some sort of slithery worm animal.

Just a couple of flickers with this guy, and you are sitting pretty on the beef department. Venser, the Sojourner's +2, and later -1 love this guy. Couple of Momentary Blinks too just for good measure. And finally, he makes a hell of a chump blocker.

Maybe I should add this to my Rubinia commander deck? Mistmeadow Witch FTW.

The first time i saw someone use a blink to get around the evoke sacrifice, I thought it seemed a little fishy, but i let it pass. If you review the rules, specifically 702.72a, it's very clear that the sacrifice is PART of the casting cost, not a triggered effect. Failure to sacrifice the creature makes the evoke fizzle and the creature goes to the graveyard. It doesn't matter if the creature leaves the battlefield, it still must be sacrificed to fulfill the evoke cost. Any judge that misses this obviously hasn't read the rules closely enough.

Like it, 3/3 for 4 is meeeeh but it has a nice ability and evoke on top of that.

4/5.

As XTwistedX said stick Flickerform on it to make white weenie into white not-so-weenie.

Anyway, its a rabbit-sheep-fox. Awesome!
