One of the best options black has on Turn 1. Especially useful against combo decks.

Daanz, that's four of your cards for three of theirs. Not too sure how that's useful. One-for-one disruption, I can understand.

Okay, it's back. But next time, make sure it gets in with its brother Ostracize, yes?

4-for-three is alright when the sixth and seventh cards in hand are mox sapphire and ancestral recall

classic staple, still usable today even with thoughseize (run this and thoughtsieze when up against combo). Inquistion of Kozileck is still better at handling aggro however, but I like having options.

@ Falyxron, I must respectfully disagree. The best black can do on turn one is dark ritual, thoughtsieze, entomb and finally reanimate. You get the biggest, scariest creature you can find and they lose a card in their hand that duress might not have even been able to grab. You could actually use multiple dark rituals for some real shenanigans if you're feeling particularly devilish.

Ritual, this, Hymn to Tourach. There, now we don't lose card advantage.

Using the force to give a wedgie, that's not the Jedi way...
