there's another card I saw that did damage equal to number of goblins. I want them both.
also, being more than half Vorthos and less than half Spike, seeing these cards makes me commit to never using Lightning Bolt in a Goblin Tribal deck again.

It SEEMS like it should be a cost. It FEELS like a cost. If this card were created today it would be an additional cost. But reading it and finding out that sacrificing creatures is part of the effect makes this a very good card. Countered? Nobody's dead. Untimely Giant Growth or Redirect or anything? No problem, you choose to sacrifice zero creatures.

Less versatile than Goblin Bombardment, but more surprising to your opponent, and in a goblin deck (red's best bet for large numbers of creatures), Goblin War Strike is usually better. I think there are better options to be found for most circumstances.

Attack with 10 tokens, Dogpile and then Last-Ditch Effort. TROLOLOLO
The worst thing I thought of doing to somebody is this and Reins of Power.

I had a friend who experimented with his own quirky formats for a little bit, and once he decided to play "turbo MtG," wherein every card cantripped. You could only play one land per turn. He did have the foresight to ban anything with the words "add" and "mana."
I played a deck with one Mountain, every single 0-cost creature I could find, and this card.

And off course it were better if it couldn't be countered.
