This isn't terrible - a bear in a useful tribe. It's not playable in constructed, but decent filler in limited.

This should have replaced Glory Seeker in the EvT duel decks.

The First knight I ever got in mtg. I still feel nostalgia whenever I see it.

People are always talking in comments about how certain cards in core sets like M10 & M11 are important for new players. Will I think this card is a good one for people new to the ranking system on gatherer.

At the time of this post, he has a higher rating then Fledgling Griffin. This may seem weird, to a new player. But Knight Errant is a knight-type and therefore has more synergy with many decks then the griffin. Therefore it is rated higher.

But, of course, if one was not running any knight tribal whatsoever, one would probably rather have the griffin then this in a deck.

@mrredhater, that's why that's uncommon and this is common, Duh.
@arachiobia, some of the points on here are also for the nostalgia value, fledgling griffon is a much newer card so doesn't have that hazy glow of forgotten wonder around it. this card has had years of being used whether by new players liking the cheap 2/2 or by higher level players looking for cards to bulk out white weeny or knight tribal decks, there are hundreds of people who will have fond memories of the time they used this to clinch a game at one point or another

Wish the core sets used this (with better art) instead of Silvercoat Lion.

Classic card. 1White for 2/2 in White is just right. Compare to Walking Corpse in Black: solid vanillas in great tribes. Staples of the game.

I really think this card rocks.
In a tribal deck having something that can't be offset because of another creature type really seem a plus to me.
I wish they'd reprint it, and leave it as just a knight.

That and it seems a bit uncommon to find something recent with no abilities on it.
..not really a good thing, but I like that.
