Feels like a really solid card to me; even if you only play one other card during your turn, it comes out as a 2/2 with haste for 2. Me like.

This one by itself is okay, definitely a step in the right direction for storm creatures. The next in this vein will be some Mythic Rare Storm-hoser with Flash, Haste, a +1/+1 counter for each spell cast before it, and the option of exiling all spells on the stack...

I think people are missing the difference between "cast" and "copy". Copies are not cast, so they won't do anything for this guy. That's nothing to hold against the card, just pointing it out. As to the creature itself, it's kinda meh. Even in the format it was designed for, I'm not seeing a ton of value. The biggest mistake was probably giving it haste (as opposed to almost any other popular keyword). Fact is, if you're playing enough spells to get value out of this guy, haste isn't as relavent as, say, trample or shroud.

Uhh, why isn't this seeing play in Modern? RG Aggro should love this. BTE into this is good, but BTE into Manamorphose into BTE into this is absurd. This can be absurd. Throw in some free spells or something and you have a really fast, brutal deck.
