I think at 4/4 to take it out of bolt range and change it's cost to {4}{R}, this would be solid, and yes give him the warrior creature type as well!

@NoobOfLore: Red can get a 4/4 with haste and flying for 4RedRed, in form of Volcanic Dragon, even at the time of Urza's Saga: the dragon is from Mirage...

Average card, not good, not bad, "normal". In a giant deck this can be a choise, even if I'd like Thundercloud Shaman in the same slot, maybe... However, I don't run a giant deck, so I don't know actually...

Bonebreaker Giant says NoobOfLore is full of crap.

Power him up and make him easier to cast?
I don't think so.

Remember Hill Giant? This guy only costs one more than that.

Red just doesn't get 4/4 for 5 without downsides, and a 4/4 with haste would push it at least to 6 mana, if not another Red.

Edit:
Oh look guys, new cards were printed. I guess statements made about cards that are currently printed DON'T hold true eternally. Thanks for pointing that out.

Volcanic dragon costs 1 more, and is actually pretty good.
Bonebreaker giant is a 4/4 for 5, but it doesn't have haste now, does it?

Draft filler nothing more. 4Red for 4/4 haste would be fine. How often is Stampeding Rhino played? Bonebreaker Giant is so bad in constructed that its never played, only use is a draft filler. Giving it haste would be progress, stronger creatures for a stronger metagame.

According to the flavor text, this giant enables faster than light signaling which should permit transmission of information through time if abused correctly. I'm sure there's a way to use that to my advantage in a deck...
