No reason to even try and make a deck that uses this guy.

Why not? He's damn cool.

Indeed. A 2/2 (it isn't hard to deal damage to an opponent with red) with Flanking for 2 CMC is pretty good.

Not too bad but not too well as well. 2/5

Bloodthirst? Cast during second main phase, you say? WAT.

A 2/2 flanker in red is decent enough, so this one won't draw my ire...this time.

I dunno, I would've expected better. Fallen Askari was better than this, and that was during Mirage power levels. Should've at least had first strike or something.

Someone riding falming horse?
5/5 just for that and for art.

An interesting alternative to Scab-Clan Mauler, its brother two-drop that is more than its printed 1/1.

Most Guildpact Bloodthirsters are not good!

This guy is great.

Compared to all 2012 Core Set Bloodthirsters he would fit in here:

1: Furyborn Hellkite
2: Bloodlord of Vaasgoth (Innistrad Type Vampires Failed This Guy!)
3, 4, and 5: Duskhunter Bats, Blood Ogre, and Bogardan Lancer (Tie)
6, 7, and 8: Stormblood Berserkers, Gorehorn Minitaurs, and Carnage Wurm (Tie)
9: Vampire Outcasts
10: Lurking Crockadile
11: Bloodrage Vampire

It is a Really Good Card

@Zokorad
You can't compare cards like that. To be honest, Furyborn Hellkite is seeing no play, and despite it's mythic status is dropping for a buck fifty. I play Zendikar vamps, and my two Bloodlord of Vaasgoths are nearly useless most of the time. I've already won. In my opinion, the best bloodthirst creature is Stormblood Berserker, which I see as an updated version of this. And it is the best because red has so many enablers (the best turn two enabler is Gut Shot)that make him a 3/3 for 1R that can't be blocked except by two or more creatures. However, there are situation where this could potentially be more useful. So similar, actually.

Slightly inferior to Benalish Cavalry, but might be a bit more abusable in the right situation. Proliferate comes to mind.
