Flash makes this card fairly usefull because it allows you to cast this on creatures after they deal damage so they can never untap. Though of course you could use this on your own creatures that do not naturaly untap.

Fits perfectly into my Stoic Angel style vigilance deck. My creatures are never tapped, so leaden fists is an instant speed Oakenform for my creatures. For my opponents, it is an instant speed Paralyzing Grasp .
In multi-player games, there are some interesting possibilities. Big creature attacks opponent only to be blocked by a bigger creature. I give the smaller one Leaden Fists so it kills the big one. Big one dies, little one doesn't untap. Two birds with one stone ( a lead stone).
MY FISTS... They are made OF LEAD!!!!! I just had to say it.

This is one of my favorite cards in magic. I'm consistently saddened when wizards trys to convince players it isn't a fun card. Tom LaPille >:(

Most everyone will say to put this on creatures enchanted with an untap ability or vigiliance. It will work just fine as that but the beauty of this card is not in it orginal form. Its an Oakenform for your creatures. Its a Stasis Cell for your oppenents creatures. All at instant speed. Finally its in blue how many blue aura cards give stat a bonus to the creatures they enchant? 5/5
Yeah, for some reason Wizards really seems to hate Time Spiral Block. It's actually my favorite block, even though I actually started playing Magic in Kamigawa and I didn't know much about the game's history when I experienced Time Spiral.
