I don't get the love for this card. At this casting cost it normally doesn't do me much good.

It's all about the color.
Blue gets lots of good card draw. Green, despite it's official "second best at" title, - not so much. A plane-shifted Concentrate is much more valuable at the cost of 2GG than at 2UU. So, when you need some gas, but don't want to go blue for it, Harmonise is your good friend.
And what a beautifull art! Simple, but so-o deep. The same goes for flavour text. True wisdom there is.

Green draw. This works for me.

Fantastic colour shifted card... in Blue this is average but in Green it's top tier...

It's easy to stack up lands fast in green. This played a key role in enabling my Seismic Assault deck. They have a very classy full image version out there too.

To sweetestsadist: it's green. Mana acceleration is green's thing. In the midgame, this is often a green ancestral recall in a mana ramping deck.

Come on, Wizards... Give it a core set reprnt! This should be used as a core set staple!

Seems like seton is buddhist, hence the artwork lotus pose.

Green Draw is always cool. Insightful flavor text...

Now that's just icing on the cake.

Drawing cards is never to be taken for granted, and having a simple 4CC draw for green is pretty nasty.

I love this. Because its good, no, great, but simple. Card draw looks so much more... wholesome in green clothes. Throw out your Jayemdae tomes and start humming druidic tones.

While I don't doubt the quality of this card, I do have to question its colorshifting. While green has always had specific tutoring (for lands and creatures), is green draw really that common? If, flavor-wise, drawing is the accumulation of knowledge, I have a hard time stretching green's value of instinct and nature to cultivating knowledge.

But that's just me being a weird Vorthos.

@ Teotanek
As I know Seton is a centaur and therefore could hardly sit in lotus pose.

Ah planar chaos, the scourge of the color pie. This card (along with a few others) inspired an entire deck from me, the green deck that grows everything: lands, life, creatures, cards in hand, you name it and green can get more of it as a resource. When the name of the game is card advantage, Harmonize (and friend Magus of the Library) allow Green to really shine.

i like how the flavor text makes a jab at the original version of it.

Awesome card, and the flavor text is very buddhist in its nature. Even though its weird cuz buddhists like to concentrate.. But i digress.

@SpencerDub: I see flavor of green drawing in a different way as the blue draw. Drawin of both colours can be seen as gaining knowledge, but from different sources. Blue focuses on progress, it wants to find out new ways, new means, it wants to move borders of mind... and it all comes from a power of mind and thoughts. Green, on the other hand, is much more spiritual. It takes it's knowledge from the harmony (so that harmonize...) and tranquility of nature, from its unchanging order, as well as from predatory rules of nature (I can think about Snake Umbra), you're getting to learn about a world by living... Green don't want the progress... green wants to learn about the world and understand it... both in watching falling leaves of trees or hunting a prey. I hope it makes sence :)

Does anyone else think that MAGIC needs a border change for its 20th anniversary?

I love how the flavor text sticks its tongue out at the card it was Timeshifted from.

I'd just like to say that this is one of my very favorite printings of a card in the game - including the art, the flavor text, the game-play effect, and the border.

Green and Blue are my two favorite colors in the game, and I use Harmonize and Concentrate a lot.

Better card drawing than blue... That's just not fair. This should obviously be a green staple in any eternal format. And i thought Tidings was impressive.

@Tilanth: You mean the exact same card drawing as blue, because Harmonize is a color shifted version of Concentrate.

I thought that green draw should come from creatures (at least it's something that Mark Rosewater said), so this is quite wrong...
I like almost every other green draw (even if I think that black should be the second color for drawing, but with some other kind of payment, like life or sacrifice), but this is a simple "draw 3" spell, and that should be blue, not green...

However, it's a single exception, so there's not anything to worry about...

As aside, now that red get card draw (even if it's only filtering, like a reverse Merfolk Looter) white is the only color that doesn't draw cards...

This is the timeshifted version of Concentrate.

Straight card draw in a colour specialising in mana ramp? Magnificent.

He should have just been giving two thumbs up...or two middle fingers...either would be great on this card.

For an extra {G} you can play and crack a garruk, primal hunter before they can respond. As long as you have a creature, but you are playing green, so you'd better. It also counts as a permanent for things like Genesis wave.
