I've wanted to brake this for years... I think with lightning bolt, burst lightning, and lightning healix, maybe some blightning and the mana base to support it. Just add some draw tech and fetch lands and this could be a neat burn deck.

wow, a positive upkeep and a reduced price. this had to be a mis print, maybe it was saposed to say opponints graveyard, or maybe it was sapposed to be a 2/2 for 4, but both of thouse would have been awfull, like most other comunitive upkeep cards, but as it is, its broken.

It's not a misprint. The point is that if you played it on turn two, you would likely not be able to pay its upkeep even once, and by late game it might be better to have a more expensive 4/4 that sticks around rather than one who will die in a few turns unless you have some way to constantly feed your graveyard. That's the logic, anyway. Of course, this card has many fun uses. I'd love to see more cards like this rather than stuff like Leatherback Baloth.

I love this card because Dredge has no answer for it. How does it answer this card? Early game, you just put their Bridge from Belows back in their deck. But later on, you can just put EVERYTHING back in their deck. This is even a decent answer to Tarmogoyf! Oh Jotun Grunt, is there anything you can't do?
Oh yeah, your name can't be typed correctly. Stupid German O letter...

This is one of those cards that is better in tournament play than in casual. because it often needs the opponent to play fetchlands, but then it can randomly destroy tarmogoyf and dredge. besides that it is a 4/4 for two mana with vanishing 2-4 most common. not to bad right.

also, o umlauf (Ö) as the letter is called is almost the same as the danish OE or Ø. we also have Æ and Å just to annoy you Americans, same way as french has ú, ù, û in most of their vocals xD

One of the two cheapest giants in the game. The other one being Rotting Giant.

This card's artwork could be the album cover for a death metal band.
Actually, 'Jotun Grunts' could be a death metal band...

A decent follow-up to Wrath of God.

Hehe, I like this card, and for all of you Americans out there, the letter Ö is pronounced similar to OE, or like the "i" is pronounced in the word "girl". :)
