One hell of a finisher for TS limited. it provided some decks the out to win an otherwise unwinnable game :)

More expensive than Overrun (at least in mono-green, or anything with enough mana correction), and at best gives only an additional +1/+1. That's with all types of lands, so you'll probably be using mana correction of some sort anyway...

The "Best" that it can give is +5/+5 (+1 for each of the five basic land types) In addition to trample.
The only problem with this in constructed is that the best kind of mana-fixing is to include a gratuitous amount of non-basic lands.
I love the ruling that the creatures "don't get trample for each basic land type". Brilliant :)

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
The card references Overrun as well as the so-called "domain" mechanic from Invasion block, such as Planar Despair, that counted different land types (the mechanic was given an ability word name "Domain" when it was bought back again in Conflux on such cards as Exploding Borders.)

The steep cost seems unnecessary, at least sounds like a fair price as well, since getting the most out of this is a rather hard task. Sure, the original duals, shock lands and fetch lands can make this substantially easier, but it's still too conditional that you'd want to rely on it at a cost of .
