I very clearly remember my first Bog Wraith back in the late fall of '94. Black was my favorite color at the time, and my black deck all ready contained a Royal Assassin, Nightmare, and a Sengir Vampire. Still, my deck was mostly fleshed out with Scathe Zombies, Erg Raiders, and Frozen Shades, and I remember a feeling of elation as I rode home from the Comic Book Store in the back seat of my mom's station wagon, thinking of how much this 3/3 swampwalker was going to improve my deck.

You know?Memories like that are what MTG is all about! I started playing MTG a bit later, but felt the same way about Moor Fiend!!! I would run around, with four in my deck screaming, MIGHTY MOOR FIEND POWER RANGERS ATTACK!!! I actually had jubilation when Blanket of Night came out. 4 Bog Wraiths, 4 Moor Fiends, a bunch of other swamp walkers, and the coup de grace, Kormus Bell and Pestilence. Good times, good times!
