I agree on flavor! Giant creature punches the snowman, nothing. Giant creature confused goblins pelt him with a snowball hide behind the snow man and giggle. Great stuff.

The prevent all combat damage when blocking nullifys all damage dealt by goblin snowman.This creature was created when Magics color wheel was not organized. This is clearly a white creature card cause its abilities are defensive and red is aggressive.

Goblin Snowman costs four mana, Baneslayer Angel costs five.
Gobiln Snowman is a Goblin, and so it has a tribal component, Tarmogoyf has not.
Goblin Snowman prevents all combat damage, Vampire Nighthawk doesn't.
Goblin Snowman can deal direct damage, Jace can't.
Goblin Snowman is 1/1, Ali From Cairo is 0/1 for the same CMC.

So... Every part of Goblin Snowman is STRICTLY BETTER than that of one of the most powerful cards in Magic. And I haven't talked about the artwork...
