Because a 3/3 five-drop couldn't simply get flying by default. That stands to reason.

I look at Shepherd of the Lost and back at this card, and I wonder whether there was a typo in the mana cost.

@daedalus25: I feel I do that a lot with new vs. old cards... I've been playing since ice age, and mana cost has been messing with my brain lately

Useless soldier, and you call yourself a trainee. Angel of Mercy is so much better because it actually gets flying AND you gain 3 life. How pathethic.
0.5/5 stars. Completely useless and you've gotta be out of your mind to actually play this in any format.

UGH, I meant to say "eager" trainee, of course... stupid typos.

For a real laugh, compare to Baneslayer and then cry a bit...

... Why couldn't it have flying to start with? Or first strike?

It's really sad when a White four drop is worse than Angel of Mercy.

I'd enchant it with Flight, just for the lolz.

Also compares badly to Thran Golem, absent any Shatters.

Hey people, this isn't so bad. This combos amazingly well with Defensive Stance!

Surely this is better than the current rating, but not by much.

Scarlett from G. I. Joe looks pretty swag in front of that big birdsteed. This card sucks big time though...

In a world full of limited draft fodder; one card stands out as The Most Limited, The Most Fodderest... this is That Card.
