Handy with Salvaging Station as exterion mentioned, I run it in my Sharuum the Hegemon EDH deck, it's used for bouncing either Sharuum to recur other artifacts, or bouncing an artifact that gets targeted with any kind of removal. Salvaging Station brings it back easily.

I run this card in EDH. This is very good in a blink deck, especially one with Sharuum, the Hegemon as its general. 3 total mana to blink one creature isn't too much, at least in EDH and when you're blinking something like Sphinx of Uthuun, Sphinx Summoner or Filigree Angel. Then, it's also an artifact, which interacts very well with a lot of things. For example, it makes Sharuum very hard to kill, and counts as one more thing to recur with Open the Vaults. It's not golden by any means, but it deserves more than a 2.3 rating. 3.5 sounds fairer.
