This is nice with Animar as an EDH general, since you'll be much more likely to take immediate advantage of the creature cards than a deck with any other general.

granted it's a useful card, my limited selection of impressive green creatures makes this card hard to pull off. In my personal situation, I'm more likely to benefit my opponent than myself.
Still, very useful for people that DO have the cards for it.

Fetch 3 Drift of Phantasms + Maga, Traitor to Mortals -> transmute the phantasms for Early Harvests, ending up with 24 mana, cast Maga with X=21.
The deck saw some competitive play too.

Still, very useful for people that DO have the cards for it.
