Basically a 5/5 for 6 mana (2(R)(R) + 2 sacrificed mountains), which isn't bad since it's flying, though if played early game i could see it doing a bit of damage to your playing power; losing mana early game is badddd.

This isn't a 5/5 for 6 mana at all. Remember that you can sacrifice the two mountains that were more then likely used to pay the RedRed portion of his mana cost. Try playing a 5/5 flier on turn 4 before you judge this guy. This guy and Hunted Lammasu are two of my favorite fliers in the game.

I really want this to have haste. If I'm paying two mountains... I'm just saying. Would haste cost me a third mountain? Two points of toughness? Not power, please don't tell me that haste would cost power...

Maybe if it had haste... This is not good enough to be worth the land sac.

This card might be good for Goblin decks that don't need much mana, but I feel like he should have haste.

Talk about crazy with Dragonspeaker Shaman - you'd be able to run two of these out on turn 4.

Consider playing this if none of your friends have a deck featuring Baneslayer(s). It's a very large flying, and surely fine enough for casual games.

This is not a bad card at all. People should be running this in fast mono-red decks with a mana curve that stops at four and this should be your 4 drop - which is like almost every mono-red aggro deck. The sac'd mountains are hardly a setback considering most of your other spells would cost 2 or less to cast anyway.

Beatdown with minor inconvenience and cool art.

Turn 4: Casts Rathi Dragon! (Sacrifices 2 Mountains). . . End Turn.
Opponent: Before End Turn, Doomblade! :P

Honestly, in a mono-red aggro deck, the drawback won't even matter in most cases. This is usually my finisher of choice in Sligh.
