The Urza lands have become iconic in their mass-mana abilities. Whether it's Blaze or artifacts or, well, anything, they are loved and hated by many.

Or you could run something like Life from the Loam + Gifts Ungiven :)

these lands work fantastic in eldrazi decks. 4 each of urza's mine, power plant and tower and you are off to the races. it is amazing how fast you can get those big guys out with these lands as the main lands in a deck.

@bijart_dauth The Urzatron are not eclipsed by cloudpost. Cloudpost is only a single card and thus you can have only 1 playset in the deck. Furthermore, coming into play tapped is a huge disadvantage. These can be played in any artifact deck as though they were basic lands.
With the full 12 of them out, you can have 100 mana every turn. This is known as 12-post. Even if you add Vesuva to Urzatron, you can still only have a maximum of 30 mana, and from a total of 4 extra lands too. So, sorry, but Urzatron is obscured by 12-post. Still, if you're running an all-colorless deck, there's really no reason not to run both.

It's official. During 8th edition, Urza was George Lucas.
