Great heavy artillery in saproling and token decks. Theres something wrong with this beast however; its body it shaped extremely weird. How does it walk, and for that matter live properly?

He's the cutest giant ugly monster I've ever seen.... I think....
Great illustration, regardless of anatomical quandaries.

The Tempest/Weatherlight artwork for this card is way better.

Sooo... the elves built it out of mud and vines?...Or the leash? I don't get the flaour text. Bramble snap overshines this.

Lodestone Myr and Bramblesnap both have trample which makes them far better than our mud beast here. Now if he was an Elf instead of an Elemental ... than it might be a different story. I do like the old art better, only because it fits better with the Flavor text.

I always felt like the 9th edition art looked like a mix of a potato and a dinosaur ... funny considering it's supposed to be made out of mud and vines.
All jokes aside, it's decent. The art is funny, but I can live with that.

Bramblesnap seems much better. Starts smaller but has the all important trample.

Good point. The main advantage for this guy, I think, is that he's out of bolt range.
But yeah, it's probably good to get Bramblesnap out early. Saves up mana for anything later, including some stampede spell.
