... Are you telling me that this gorilla could tear a dragon in half? Even King Kong himself would have a tough time with that. I mean, I'm gauging him at around 5/5 at best. Probably closer to 4/4.

Volcre's comment makes me feel sad for how far this game has fallen.
Once upon a time, a card like this hitting the board would have brought oohs and ahs--a fatty regenerator that wasn't insanely overcosted or sporting some Arboroth or Lord of Tresserhorn-esque "grab-your-ankles-and-break-out-the-vaseline" type of drawback would have gotten a ton of respect.
Now, this would never see play outside of limited and is sitting in a box where I've put cards I don't ever see myself playing. Alas. :'-(

This card is still a force. I love the older cards. It adds flavor to the game, and shows character. She may not be the best creature out there, but she still turns heads, and can keep em rolling...hehe. Saying she sucks, is like saying a classic Corvette sucks because its slower than the newest Ferrari. Look at the bigger picture people, smug players like Volcre, and play with what is fun. An after game conversation about loosing to this old school beater, would be more memorable than a game lost to a terra stomper.

This is Green at it's purest. Playing against it is a pain because green has so many disenchantments to counter my Oblivion Rings. My friend has an old Green big creature deck and the only thing in it that I'm more worried about is Thorn Elemental

I run two in my sphinx ramp deck. It's much more fun to play than the win-moar Titans, and even better in a few ways. The regeneration is very much needed with all the removal that flies around a kitchen table. Combined with shrouded sphinxes and blue lockdown, it makes for a deck of very annoying and persistent fatties. And you can even get it black bordered and foil for like two bucks!
It's a solid, pretty, fun card, and better yet it doesn't make me feel dirty when I win with it.

As cool as this card is, it's hard to find a place for it. Cudgel Troll works better as a cheap regenerating blocker, and Rhox works better as a regenerating attacker.
