It doesn't tap unless it's destroyed and regenerates. "Regenerate fiddlehead kami" means "fiddlehead kami gets a regeneration shield until end of turn."
It's still bad though.

I like it. It's pretty bad, but it's weird. I love weird cards.
If it cost less or could be returned from the graveyard by ANYONE playing a Spirit or Arcane spell, it might be good. As it stands, it's just mediocre and over coated.
