How often does your opponent have more than five tapped lands? This card is way to situational.

This is the sort of thing you'd use for multiplayer. Yes, it's pretty bad for 1 on 1, but if you are playing with 3 other people and they each have 4 lands tapped, that's +7 mana. Pretty nice.

Absolutely owns in multiplayer. Once used this to fuel a Myojin of Infinite Rage and Insurrection. In a 3-player game. On the same turn.

I agree it is best for multiplayer but I guess you could use it with cards with cascade like Enlisted Worm or Enigma Sphinx. That requires playing a lot of colors but Fifth Dawn had the rainbow thing going on anyway with cards like Channel the Suns. In fact, you could use the Channel the Suns to play a Maelstrom Nexus. Than when you play your next big spell you get this guy for free allowing you to fireball or something.

Drain Power and follow up with this. Force your opponent to tap all of his or her lands and transfer that mana to your mana pool, then pay off this spell using some of it. Then use all that mana for a few cheap spells to storm onto. Or just use it all on a blaze.

War's Toll to keep it in-color.

I love silly, strange red spells that are totally situational but absolutely worth it.

Especially with good flavor text.

In multiplayer this can go infinite with Reiterate. I'm not sure exactly how, but it can. I think the best way is to first fork Mana Geyser with Chandra, the Firebrand.

Dragonstorm no longer seems useless in FFA. Also when do my opponents tap all their lands? Either when they play their hand or I power sink them. XP
