With a lot of card draw, this card can be devastating.

you have to keep in mind that your opponent will pay the 5 life once it's his turn if you're indeed planning on doing a rather devasting threat out of this card, therefore you'll either have to discard the cards on the turn you cast this enchantment or your plan won't work out. i guess this card might be useful in the opening hand, but it won't do anything that useful later when your opponent doesn't have left that many cards on his/her hand to convert them into "anti-cantrips" anyways.

Howling Mine! A good card. Potential 5 life loss for only 2BB? With the discard ability? Nice.

Funny enough even if your opponent chooses to destroy this can you not in response use the discard feature. Which goes on the stack and resolves first?
This would be awesome to revive in a Leyline adaptation, maybe requiring you to exile the cards from your hand instead of discarding them -- you could cause both players to begin the game with no cards in hand (I guess the opponent would have one card in their hand). It would be interesting, at least.
As it is, I wish Dungeon was cost-efficient enough to at least playtest in Dredge decks; it would be the best discard outlet available if the didn't nix it.
BloodDragon -- you can only play the discard ability as a sorcery, so it's essentially impossible to activate in response to the 5-life-destruction ability (maybe there's some crazy way to put together some weird trickery that lets you play whatever sorceries you like at flash/instant speed during an opponent's turn, but not even Teferi can pull that one off).

So I was looking for a way to abuse Angel of Jubilation's second ability a while ago. I thought it would could be something more then just a way to hose black cards and phyrexian cards. But I gave up after I couldn't find anything. Now after seeing this I just have to lol. I'm going to have to make a deck using the 2. It might not be good, but man will it be funny as hell watching people get POed when they have to draw the same card over and over again.

May have to try this guy. Keep a low curve aggro deck; discard excess lands to nuke their removal options etc..
Should go well with Blackmail and maybe single-card milling. You check their hand for anything still a threat. If it's not there then you mill that top card because that's probably the only other place they'd put their big threat.
Also a funny way to pay yourself into low life totals for death's shadow. Instant speed too.

This card is another in the long line of Black "suicide" enchantments going all the way back to Lich and Greed. Yes I realize this particular card has no life/draw interaction, but it's still related.
This is one of the failures, see also Colfenor's Plans. Many a player has tried real hard to make these work...
This is only really good in multiplayer like EDH where you can get 30 cards in hand and treat it like a sorcery. Then dump everything you don't need to force all other players place their entire hands on to their libraries.

They hit a couple bullseyes with Necropotence and Yawgmoth's Bargain... but where can you really go from there?
