Metalvolence may be correct, it's possible that this is, in fact, terrible. However, more research is needed. To the laboratory!

eh, the main thing this card has going for it is that I already have one, otherwise I wouldn't even consider using it. as it stands it fills a nice suplimentary role in a certain deck I have that's based on the idea that my opponents wont Want to block my creatures.

It's not bad at all. It kills blockers- that's a good thing in a game where the primary way of winning is by attacking. Also, rat tribal is hilarious.

Looks to me like it's best against 1 toughness Deathtouch shenanigans on defense. Which really is far too narrow an application.

Seems pretty nice to me. Soften up a blocker before combat resolves, murder a pointless Winged Coatl before it snaps at your Emrakul, things like that. It would be nice if it had like a 1/2 body or something, though. And it can rip a Darksteel Myr in two for you, as well. Just run a few of them, and you'll be able to significantly soften up most major threats.

I love anything that can kill without paying mana but I would prefer it was a 0/1 for B.

A reverse Infantry Veteran! It's sorta-kinda like giving the blocked creature flanking.
