another card that served as model for an ability of the same name.
Unfortunately, a creature with provoke won't let you draw a card... ;)

Can you use the creature that you untapped, to block an attacker with his own creature??

Any time a card says 'tap' or 'untap' something, it can already be in that condition to target it. The exception being when the card itself says otherwise (like 'tap target untapped creature'). But if it has a Tap or Untap than that is a different story.

In this specific case, the 'untap' is to make the creature a legal blocker. That way it can hit creatures that attacked or used Tap abilities. Of course, in the Tap case, the controller could just use it again to make it an nonlegal blocker again before they declare them.

No. you can't block your creatures or attack yourself, and that means it isn't able to block.

This card screams aggro, very beast. Swing, wreck a creature of your choice and draw a card.

"Suddenly, Selenia and Mirri both dropped their battle poses and started kissing. Crovax felt very awkward and conflicted about this sudden development and promptly left the scene, which continued to heat up with the arrival of Jaya Ballard, who took the initiative to strip bare."

If only the untap was optional, this would be strictly better than Culling Mark three times over.

Part of Conspiracy, now, with new art featuring a homunculus. (No, I don't think it's Fblthp.)
