Perhaps if the casting cost was 1 less, it might see play. As it is, it's not too useful against aggro since it comes out so late.

I'm going to put it on my EDH deck with Scion as my general.. If I put my scion to graveyard, and then imprint it with this, will it come back to the general zone?

EDIT: OK, now I know.. the general need to be stay exiled for the imprint to work.

This card says A source, wouldn't this mean it can only block one creature?

@pehden It will only prevent damage from one source per activation, so yes, it would only prevent damage from one creature if that's what you targetted. But it doesn't block, it prevents damage.

4 casting cost and 2 using cost to stop Progenitus and friends (Protections, hexproof, mutli-instances-of-damage, etc) ? Worth it. Anything that can shut down untargetables is no less than "good", if not great.

Also, that Imprint means: Free exile one opponent's graveyard card (which will be the color(s) that matter anyways) isn't bad either.

It's not MEANT to stop rush decks. It's meant to stop big OUCH moments. Don't rate it compared to stuff it doesn't care about.
