I wish she was a legendary creature...very odd story wise that she isn't.

Anywho, This isn't the original Suicidal Charge, Fade_to_Black. That would be Season of the Witch...I think...

Cessation is the card!
Your opponent choose zero creature? Ok...
Your opponent choose a creature? Then enchant it with Cessation and destroy it at the end of his turn... Your opponent won't attack anymore, as long this card is in the battlefield...
Your opponent choose more than one creature? Are you playing white, right?

A little convolute, but it's effective! Also, it's quite fragile... Season of the Witch would be a better choise, but off-heavy-color...

This card + War Tax = annoyed opponents. Especially if they are playing any kind of weenie/swarm deck.

Lightmine Field makes this card pretty good.

The last few sets make this pretty fun with Droning Bureaucrats. Either they can't attack at all, or you selectively pick off whichever attacker(s) you don't like.

This card has a lot of cool uses.

* It negates the ability to attack with Haste (and with it several popular cards that depend on that, like Ball Lightning.)

* It's often as good as giving your creatures Flash, since you can get your opponent to commit to an attack and then play a buff blocker that will kill whatever they're attacking with.

* It can often set up lose-lose situations for your opponent, especially if you have a big evasion beatstick to go with it -- either they declare they won't attack and your beatstick hammers them without having to worry about defense, or they declare that they will attack and you reserve your beatstick to murder their attackers.
