A cheaper, more efficient Sacred Nectar. Not too mention you can play it, wait for Sanguine Bond to come in and pop it.

the only spellbomb worth playing, in my opinion. Though it is outclassed by some of the lifegain in Zendikar.

in color with Auriok Salvagers.

I like the synergy it has with Sun Titan, both in effect and in name. Just bring it back to the field every turn for consistent one mana life gain.

Fairly broken, but not as broken as Rest for the Weary.

Auriok salvagers, 4 mana, gain 5 life, put a +1/+1 counter on arcbound crusher and glassdusk hulk gets +1/+1 and is unblockable, count me in, probably the spellbomb I have played the most.

In the unlikely case that you plan on running this in a deck with Angels,
consider using Scroll of Avacyn instead, which has the potential to get you both effects at once.

Amazing when combined with black cards that trade life for cards, as this will always give you what you need more of at the time you draw it.
