With cards like this Mobilization and Even the Odds there is no need to stuff your soldiers deck anymore with unless vanilla weenies. Throw in Captain of the Watch, Field Marshal or Rhox Pikemaster, and Knight-Captain of Eos with Veteran Armorsmith, Veteran Swordsmith and some creature removal and you have a ready to rumble deck. 4/5

Haha, a white precursor to Dragon Fodder... Wish it were still around.
Works well with Veteran Armorsmith and Swordsmith, as well as Field Marshal. A staple for any white weenie soldier deck. If Field Marshal is on the battlefield, this card will provide two 2/2 first strike soldiers for a CMC of 2 mana. Great deal. 4.5/5

I used to think that this was better than Join the Ranks... Then I played a Join the Ranks with a Halimar Excavator in play. 5 card mill+2 Soldiers=win!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, if you do it lots of times in a row.
