They should add the or artifacts to all these optional protection cards.

This does some nice, unique things. Protection from artifacts, for one thing. Plus it can save a planeswalker.

@console_gamer

It does plenty extra over Blessed Breath.
1. It targets a permanent. No O-ring against my Planeswalker this time, buddy.
2. Protection from artifacts. You can't always destroy the artifact that's about to destroy a card, and you may need to swing through a mass of artifacts for the win.
This isn't strictly worse or better than the 1-costs.
Many would want to throw this in just so their Elspeth isn't taken care of.

with the new scars set out, this could be sided in a white deck.

I do prefer Shelter for the cantrip but this does unconditionally save a permanent rather than a creature.

Permanent! One of the few ways to protect your enchantments/planeswalkers from abilities. Vampire Hexmage trying to kill my Elspeth? No you don't!

only thing I say is that the new Phrexian mana card stole this cards thunder xD

Not sure how a bunch of metal leaves trumps the protection of an angel or other similar cards, but this is great.
