After playing Dissidia I can't cast this card without thinking of the Warrior of Light. The knight there even sorta looks like him.

For each color, choose a color and another color. Creatures of one color gain 'protection from color' where 'color' is the other color you chose when you chose a color and then another color.

Mass protection for two mana. Not high-competitive, but very good against certain decks.

Why did they put this in a three color deck?

Ahhhh...
Nothing like a nice warm light bath after a hard day's work. Afterwards, I'll relax with some wine, a little candlelight, and my favorite music.

Hmm. I feel like they should have gone with "you control" on this card. Given that brave the elements was printed at 1 less mana, this could have been a cool alternative without being too versatile (you still have to at least splash white and have your creatures share colors).
As it is, it doesnt seem worth it, considering you would mainly want to run this in a multicolor deck, in which case you are probably giving your opponent's creatures protection too. It still works decently as an evasion giver, but it seems like it could be a really mediocre (not quite dead) draw too frequently.
Good design for commander though (casting it on your commander gives all your non-colorless creatures protection). Not too obvious like the new commanders with effects equal to the mana you spent on the commander.
