Simple, well designed, versatile and powerful. Regeneration is an under-rated effect, and anything that lets you regenerate multiple creatures multiple times (i.e. something other than Regeneration which only hits 1 creature) is sure to be a pain in the butt (yes, that's a bit of an art joke there; poor Gerrard).

Well its better than Regenerate, and it "counters" Ball Lightning and card with similar effects. Great card advantage, but it is still regeneration 3/5

that doesn't work - creatures only become tapped when they actually USE the regeneration (i.e. when they take lethal damage)
