@Kryptnyt: Damage prevention used to work on dealt damage before 6th edition. Now you put some kind of shield up that waits if damage is dealt and if any isn't the shield crumbles at the end of turn. Try to explain that in your RPG group.
Even if Squee doesn't know where he got this, I'm sure that it was Hanna who slipped this to him. See Manakin.

@Paslode3: It is a part of The Legacy and yet it is not a part of the Legacy. Format. :D You'd have a hard time finding a good use for that in a serious deck :P
But i'm pretty sure at least Vorthos is just as glad about this toy as Squee is.
Would have been so awesome if there was a stronger effect when you target him, like "If a card named Squee, Goblin Nabob was targeted this way, prevent all damage instead." I mean yeah, Squee has only 1 toughness, but if he gets hit by a grizzly bear he'll still die. Then again this would hardly have been possible considering Squee didn't exist in card form at that time :D (Although something like that even happened later in Darksteel.)

Boo, the Oracle makes it "until end of turn" EDIT: Holy crap. I just noticed that this iteration of Squee was portrayed by Robin Williams.
Hahahaha, that made me laugh for some reason. That's hilarious!

I didn't play in limited when Tempest was released, but as a common, you could easily get multiples of this. At , it would be easy to fit into lots of decks, and could help protect your delicate shadow creatures like Soltari Knight from Shock and opposing shadow creatures. Not a great card, but it has its uses.
