Yes, I would as-sume you are correct. Also for larger creatures you may not even have enough creature cards in your graveyard to make this a kill.
Really just seems like a bad set to have this card in since this was really the first block (Onslaught) to bring about a strong zombie tribal theme.

Ahhh, so this is where they got the Harvest Pyre idea from. While this is technically more powerful, Harvest Pyre is in Red, who cares far less about it's graveyard so it was a nice idea.

It's mostly for the fact that of all colours, black usually shouldn't have a hard time removing creatures. There are just so many better options.

What a waste of graveyard creatures. You have to burn x3 valuable resources just to make this a tad stronger then disfigure.
