It's great to play at your opponent's end of turn. Reducing your land draws and fixing your mana at the same time is always solid. The problem is keeping 3 mana open to do it with.

A bit situtational for normal games as it works best against decks playing lots of spells so I'd keep it in the sideboard. Where this card comes alive is in Archenemy as all the opponets share the same turn, works as either the team (play it in your turn) or as the Archenemy (play it in their turn). Played right and you'll get at least three lands, played well and you'll get many more. Couple it with Burgeoning to make the most of all that land in Archenemy.

If your opponent plays even one spell, you will get 2 lands with this, making it almost like an instant speed divination except your draws are lands.

Cool variant, fairly priced.

I like the archenemy idea.

but if you had a land in your library instead, you could cut out the middleman, save a card and 3 mana.

One possible way to activate Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant?

This just screams for Manabond. Play out your hand (maybe even the same turn you cast Manabond), get a ton of lands, then drop said lands all in one swoop. Unless part of it gets stifled, that is.

Seems like a fantastic card...although i realllly wish this would put the lands onto the battlefield instead of just into your hand.

I love to throw this down after some opponents were having a counter-war or something;

"Well that's just dandy I'm gonna sprouting vines for 5 lands now, thanks."

When I first opened this I was excited, and then I realized that it just goes into your hand.

So I put it back into the Pile of Shame, where the cards that never see play go. It's still there, probably, about three moves and many years later, sitting in an unopened box in an attic. Somebody in 10-20 years, when my parents die and we come to distribute their belongings, will open the box and go "Oh wow, look at those magic cards," get to this one, and then say "Holy crap this card sucks."

Cool card! Doesn't seem to powerful but it can filter out tons of lands from your deck and give you Massive card advantage! Maybe play a ton of cantrips into this into a seizmic assault would work? 3.5/5

23 lands, Manabond+This+Devil's Play? Anyone? Yes? No? Maybe?

This + Borborygmos Enraged:

Your opponent, i'll play this, untap this, search for this, play this, untap that, put this back in my library...ten minutes later. And finally this, now you may take a turn.

*Looks at his stacked up field and graveyard*

play sprouting vine, search for all my land. Take 120 damage to the face.
