I'm a little disappointed by how many Innistrad block cards ended up in these duel decks. There are plenty of flavorful cards outside of the block, but they were barely touched upon. Duel decks shouldn't be this close to type 2 playable.

Still, Devil's Play is a powerful, good card. Fits nicely, above withstanding.

Doaj, it's not that bad. And people will be very happy that some of these cards were Innistrad-picks for Flavor (Hellrider, you are the flaming, hasty, ass-kicking elephant in the room right now).

Since BOTH Planeswalkers are from Innistrad, it actually makes sense from the same 'Worldbuilding' perspective that makes them put way more time into Basic Lands than anyone who doesn't read R&D Articles would think is ever possible. I mean come on BASIC LANDS? But it's true.

They wanted this Duel Deck to feel like it's being fought on Innistrad. That *was* the right direction. I only question some things on a card-by-card logic though, since there were a few places where better things could have been chosen. Random Orzhov ghost in Sorin's deck feels like a flavor foul for some reason. Is it just because it's a Black-White card with the Spirit type?

Sorin's Deck should have had High Ground, for reasons that become obvious when you compare the box art to High Ground's comment thread B| >.< :D

Seriously go click and look that card up, then buy four of them, then put the proxy art you KNOW it deserves onto it! :D

5/5. Instant win late game and a very good 3-4 for 4-5R early on if you have a bad han.

Tibalt's deck is such a blast to play.
