For this card to be any of use, it should beat the draw power of Tidings. So you should have at least 5 creatures on the field. But you may use this in green decks to get draw power. The bad thing about this card is the enormous 6cmc casting cost. If you use this card, you'll probably have to wait till the next turn to get anything out of those cards. I don't like this card very much.

Whether having five creatures on the field nor paying six mana is a problem for green. Therefore a solid draw spell but I agree that there are better ones.

This card works good if you have something in play like the effect from Ambush Commander. In a high creature weenie deck it can work too. Otherwise at it's cost there are better options.

Works well with Elves like Priest of Titania to cover the CMC, plus elves tend to come in big numbers, so you can get maximum mileage out of this card. For me, most opponents I have tend to just quit when I play this card. That's because the alternative is watching me draw 8-20 cards, proceed to play all of them, then play another Collective Unconscious until they concede. For me this isn't just draw power, it's a win condition.
