Although they work heavily different, it feels like Wizards gave us this beast for red and Karstoderm for green.
Siadly we never got a beast for each color this mostly incomplete "loose cycle".
i'd also like to get a blue, green or white enchantment variant of Vulshok Boar.
It would work really nicely with Hatching Plans.

This is a variant of Balduvian Horde with much less risk - sacrificing something like Ichor Wellspring is no tragedy, especially for red. I rather enjoy Mirrodin block's red, with its voracious appetite for artifacts, which uses them as fuel just as much as for their utility - think Atog, Megatog and Shrapnel Blast.
