Who is Geyadrone Dihada? Is she mentioned or quoted on any other cards? Or does some article or novel tell us who she is? Or is she just a name droped with no explination?
Yes, I know I'm assuming she's a she, but the name just seemed to fit a female.

The flavor should have been: "To the fairest."

To really PROPERLY answer this question is going to take a bit of setting up, just because I want to tell it as a nice story :3

OK, so first, this is the *Fifth Edition* copy of the Lure card.

Vth came out close to the release of Chronicles, and because of these two sets we have the Reserved List. As you may know, Chronicles reprinted a number of valuable cards, specifically from Legends.

What almost NOBODY knows about the Legends set, is that the Elder Dragon Cycle (Nicol Bolas, Chromium Rhuell, et. al.), the 3-colored Legends Cycles (Johan, Xira, Tetsuo), and the other Gold Legends Cycles, ACTUALLY have Comic Books relating their adventures and every character is actually part of a large Dominaria-based Story, mainly dealing with the Rise and Fall of the Madaran Empire of Nicol Bolas.

Now, here's some fun stuff. When it comes to Nicol Bolas, prepare for plotlines and stories to be very long and confusing. :) Two of the legends from Legends, are Sol'Kanar the Swamp King and Dakkon Blackblade. Dakkon didn't participate in the Madaran conflicts, (to my knowledge). Where did his Blackblade come from?

From Geyadrone Dihada. Why wasn't she in Legends if she was such an important character? Because she was one of those characters that was Too Powerful for a Card. That's right: She was an Old Planeswalker. There was even an entire Planeswalker War between her and most of the other named Old Planeswalkers that never managed to matter much to the Urza Plotlines. How did Dakkon Blackblade get his sword? Why, she gave it to him. She also gave him apparently-planeswalker like Powers.

Now you might be thinking HOLD THE PHONE. Isn't Bolas a Planeswalker? and if Dakkon is a Planeswalker, why does he get a card? Well, Dakkon Blackblade and Nicol Bolas at the time of these TERRIBLY Ancient events, they had the *ability to planeswalk* as much as the Skyship Weatherlight did, but its unclear whether Dakkon even ever had a Spark, and its Very clear that Bolas' Spark hadn't exactly ignited until the end of the Elder Dragon War. Now the Blackblade is, as you might have guessed, cursed, evil, and something of a trap. Through the manipulating of a number of people and events, the Blackblade changed hands to Sol'Kanar. The Unholy Citadel was Geyadrone Dihada’s huge, mobile fortress, a collection of bones and rubble on spidery legs built by Sol'Kanar the Swamp King (taken straight from Wikipedia) But Dakkon does indeed get his Blackblade back. Except because Dihada is one of those Evil-Witch types, she does lots of trickery, manipulation, and meanness, and manages to set it up that Dakkon has lost his ability to Planeswalk AND he's got to serve her. And there are other characters involved that are related to other important characters who are by now long-dead.

Now here's some more fun History-- during a period of time that my Wikipedia Searching can't pinpoint EXACTLY, but is "Ancient Dominarian", either actually at the END of the Dragon War, or between the Dragon War and the Planeswalker War, Dihada actually killed

One-Third of all the Elder Dragons in the Existence of the Multiverse, including the 6th one that doesn't get a Legends card because MTG is base-5, not base-6, and maybe because by the time Legends happens she's already been killed. Except that would mean Chromium is also dead as of before the Madaran Empire stuff even happens, so why does he get a card? Because Blue needs an Elder Dragon.

And, in fact, it's BECAUSE her hand in the deaths of so many of Nicol Bolas' blood relatives kind of gets unavoidably brought up, that the Planeswalker War ignites on the Null Moon, which is kind of like a cross between an Entmoot and 20th century Europe, because Planeswalkers don't like each other as much as Ents do, and the Elder Dragon Piru is basically Archduke Ferdinand.

You can waste probably a straight week looking up all the stories of Legends. =D I never even got to explaining what's so important about Ulgrotha! But in fact, HOMELANDS is very much tied to the tale of both Legends, and the whole Kamigawa Block, because Tetsuo Umezawa, of the Madaran Empire, is the Champion of Nicol Bolas......and the great-great-long-something-great-grandson of Toshiro Umezawa. Also the Moxen of Alpha, (yeah, THE Moxen) were used as kind of a Lighthouse to call the Entmoot of Planeswalkers of the Null Moon.

At which Dihada was in attendance.

So, just WHEN THE HELL do the Legends, Homelands, Antiquities, Kamigawa, and....uhhh...Freaking ALPHA sets take place? In relation to each other?

Like....umm....I dunno Dude

look up Ravidel

This is why we had a Mending XD
