Not really, as they cost about the same, in fact, I bought Nexus for 6, and Factory at 5. Also, this has a beloved home in many an Affinity deck, for the simple reason that it flies. I would rather have the Nexus than the Factory, just because a cranial plated blinkmoth trumps that 'Goyf waiting to eat my dudes. Each has a spot in their respective decks, and with good reason.
EDIT: I did not know that bako. But know I know, and knowing is half the battle!

You know I never understood what was so great about Mishra's Factory. This thing, on the other hand...

I like it better than factory. I'll take evasion over +1/+1 any day. Not to mention it's an artifact for affinity.
@infernox10 Doubling Season has no effect on this. Blinkmoth Nexus doesn't make tokens or counters.

Turning it into a creature does not create a token at all, so you don't have to worry about that. The ability just modifies the card type, it doesn't make anything else come into play- the land is already in play.

Combined with Master of Etherium, this card rocks something serious. Even with only one Master, this comes out as a 2/2 flyer and gives the Master an additional 1/1 until the end of the turn. (My plus key doesn't work for some reason. Just noticed this now... hmmmmm...)
Mishra's factory is also good. But without 4 of each, combined with at least one Master of Etherium you will never successfully take over the world. Mwahahahahahahaha.

@BlackAlbino Tiny little firefly like creatures that create a knowledge imbuing serum that Memnarch needed to remain semisane. THe vedelkan horded it and enslaved the auriok to help produce it

Hey look, its Inkmoth Nexus' older brother.
To be fair, this is still good. The +1/+1 ability would work great in multiples (assuming that you have the mana).
Hmmm.... This + Inkmoth... Hehehehehe....

When this card is in blinkmoth form and gets killed, is it still and artifact creature in your graveyard or does it just become a land again?

Metalworker + Staff of Domination infinite combo with this card can be super deadly.
Going to put this in my Artifact/Angel deck with Indomitable Archangel and Mycosynth Lattice :)

Merely an hour and a half after the announcement of From the Vault: Realms, with nothing to go on but gut instinct, my guess says that either this or Inkmoth Nexus will be in it. Mirrodin was a major big deal both times we saw it, and both times this locale impacted lots of decks....
If not the Nexus, then ABSOLUTELY a card from the Artifact Land cycle. But each major plane is getting a represent, I can promise you that right off.
